The Minister has extended all onshore visitor visas that expire between 19 February 2021 and 31 March 2021 (inclusive) for two months, except for the COVID-19 short term visitor visa
Additionally, temporary exception has been made to the 9 in 18-month rule for visitor visa applications lodged before 30 June 2021 and it will allow for the grant of a visitor visa of up to 6 months. Applicants still need to meet all other visitor visa requirements including funds, onward travel, health and character.
