Get the role approved — cleanly, the first time.
Accreditation approves your business; the job check approves the role. It's where pay, advertising and market testing are tested against AEWV rules — and where a fixable slip costs you weeks. We prepare it so it clears.

Job Check
You're hereWorker's Visa
The job check is per role — and it's where hires stall.
Your accreditation doesn't approve any individual job. Each role you want to fill with a migrant needs its own job check — proving the pay is right, the role was genuinely advertised, and no New Zealander was available. Get it right and the visa stage is straightforward. Get it wrong and you're back to the start, weeks later.
The three tests at the heart of a job check.
A job check stands or falls on a handful of requirements. These are where applications are most often delayed — and where careful preparation makes the difference.
Pay at the market rate
The role must pay at least the market rate for that work in New Zealand — what a New Zealander doing the same job in the same region would earn. Evidencing this correctly is often the difference between approval and a query.
Advertising & labour market testing
Most roles must be genuinely advertised in New Zealand first — at the right duration and reach — to show no suitable New Zealander was available. How the advertising is run and documented is closely scrutinised.
Work and Income engagement
For many lower-paid roles, you must engage with Work and Income and consider candidates they refer before hiring a migrant. Handling this step properly — and on record — keeps the check on track.
Three steps to an approved role.
Prepare the role
We confirm the pay rate, advertising plan and any Work and Income engagement before anything is lodged.
Advertise & document
The role is advertised correctly and the evidence assembled — the part most often done loosely, and queried.
Submit the job check
We lodge a complete, well-evidenced job check — so it clears and your chosen worker can apply for their visa.
The role, cleared.
The pay rate, evidenced right
We establish and document the market rate for the role properly — the single most common point of failure — so it doesn't trigger a query or a decline.
Advertising that withstands scrutiny
We run and record the advertising to the right standard, so the labour market test holds up rather than unravelling on a technicality.
Sequenced with the visa
The job check is timed and prepared so your worker can move straight to their visa — no gap, no avoidable wait between the links.
One role or many
Whether it's a single key hire or a pipeline of roles, we run each job check to the same standard, so your recruitment keeps moving.
A weak job check doesn't just fail — it resets the clock. Done right the first time, your hire keeps moving.
